Narrative depictions of working with language interpreters in cross-language qualitative research

The role of the interpreter in cross-language qualitative research warrants methodological consideration at the onset and throughout the research. This study used a narrative approach to portray how two researchers' epistemological positionings about the interpreter role were negotiated within the practical realities of conducting research.
